Tadasana - The Mountain Pose Tadasana - The Mountain Pose

Stand aligning big toes together and heels slightly separated. Balance your weight forward and backward, side to side on your feet. Lift the knee caps, thighs, and stomach to maintain a sturdy posture. Roll you shoulders back and down, lengthen your neck while keeping your chin parallel to the floor. Take a deep breath in through your nose, bringing your breath to the base of your lungs. Exhale through your nose as you bring your focus to the rhythm of your breath and relax.

Benefits of The Mountain Pose
Mountain pose can improve posture, balance, strengthens thighs, firm core muscles, relieve back pain, influence proper alignment of the body including arches of the feet. This pose can also help you de-stress by bringing your focus to your breath.
